Step By Step Doorbell Installation
Doorbell installation – requires putting in both the external button that presses a visitor and inner chimes that sound. Face the main fuse box in the home and turn off power to the existing doorbell. Pulling the doorbell out of the hole in the wall. Locate the black wire in the wall and wrap it around one of the screws on the back of the doorbell. Tighten the screw with a screwdriver.
Connect the white wire to the wall to screw into the back of the doorbell installation, using a screwdriver. Push the wires into the wall hole lightly until the button sits flush with the wall surface. Look inside the house to find the old doorbell rang, which is typically located just inside the front door or a front Hall. Remove the screws with a screwdriver and pull them away from the wall.

Loosen the screws on the rear of the chimes with a screwdriver until the wires coming loose. Attach the white wire from the wall to the other screw on the rear of the chimes. Push the wires into the wall cavity and then insert screws into the holes for screws of chimes. Secure chimes with a screwdriver. Then turn the power back on for the doorbell installation and press outside to test it.
